Why host an au pair?
Your children are the most precious part of your family. When it comes to finding high quality childcare, you want to ensure you have only the best caregivers for those moments that you cannot be there. Not only is your child’s well-being and safety an important concern, but you also want to ensure that their minds and social skills are stimulated by positive daily interactions.

Host families arrange their weekly schedule based on their individual needs and requirements. Whether it is early morning hours, late-night hours or weekend shifts, host families get to choose a schedule that accommodates their unique hours. By having your childcare provider living with you there is no need to worry about back-up care in case of sickness or other emergencies. Host families can also choose between full-time (Standard and Plus Au Pair programs) and part-time (EduCare program) care. Read more about our programs.
The au pair childcare program is an affordable solution that can fit any family's budget. The cost of the program stays the same, whether the host family has one child or four children. With flexible payment plan options Au Pair 4 Me makes it simple and stress-free to find quality child care that fits any budget. Read more about program fees, payment plans and discounts.
Au Pair 4 Me representatives conduct a very thorough screening and interviewing process to make sure our au pairs can provide only the best child care to our host families. All au pair candidates complete online and in-person training that includes child safety and development. They gain 2 different Red Cross certificates – Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED and Advanced Child Care Training- that are valid for 2 years.
Our experienced, well-trained and dedicated local coordinators as well as the Au Pair 4 Me staff will support the host family and their au pair throughout the year to maximize the success of their program experience. They are available any time so our host families can contact them whenever they need any help or advice. Local Coordinators stay in touch with the au pairs and host families each month and provide on-the-ground support.
An au pair provides a priceless and unique cultural experience that will leave an everlasting impact on the host family. By choosing an au pair, your family will have a great opportunity to be exposed to another language and culture.
Host families can choose one of our three available options. Families with school-age children who might only need up to 30 hours of childcare can choose our EduCare program. Families who would like their au pair to have a professional childcare experience or have a degree related to childcare can host our Plus Au Pair. If families simply need a qualified, well-exprienced au pair who can work up to 45 hours a week, a Standard Au Pair is the best option for them.
